Hailing the first non-profit school powered by parents at Gamdevi in south Mumbai as a 'new era in Indian education', Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said there is a need to have more such schools in the country.
"What sets this school apart is that it is being run by parents of students. This will become a shining example not only for the state but for the entire country. We need to have more such schools," Amruta said. She also thanked the Trust and Teachers Services Committee board of the school for their efforts and said a new tradition in the field of education has been introduced with the school.
