Mumbai girl Priti Kamat has topped the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) examination (old syllabus), which was held in July this year. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the results of the IPC and Intermediate (New) examination on Monday.

Kamat, who did not expect the rank, told mid-day, “I was expecting that I might have to write one paper all over again, forget about topping the merit list. I checked the merit list because my mother forced me to and I was surprised to a great extent.”
