Mumbai: Goregaon brothers reach Nepal as sister, husband remain missing after August 26 floods

Two brothers from Goregaon fly to Nepal to look for their missing sister and brother-in-law, but intense water-logging has hindered their journey from Kathmandu to hotel in mountain town where their kin were staying with 13 other tourists before they all went missing

Two brothers from Goregaon, Srikant Nathan and Santosh Swaminathan, have landed in Nepal to search for their sister and her husband, who went missing ever since catastrophic floods ravaged the Himalayan country on August 26. The missing couple, Chitra Venkatraman and Venkatraman Balakrishnan, are from Sydney, Australia, and had gone on a spiritual tour of Mount Kailash in Tibet and Nepal.
