Mumbai International Airport to restart Covid-19 preventive measures; BMC issues advisory

As per the guidelines the airport authorities are restarting measures such as taking RT-PCR samples of 2 per cent of international passengers at the Mumbai International airport

As the surge in Covid-19 cases is observed in countries such as China, Japan, the United States, South Korea, Brazil, and France, the Government of India has issued updated guidelines. As per the guidelines the airport authorities are restarting measures such as taking RT-PCR samples of 2 per cent of international passengers at the Mumbai International airport.

All the positive samples will be sent to the Pune-based NIV laboratory for Whole Genome Sequencing.
