The inauguration of new platform at Kanjurmarg railway station happened today, at the hands of Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, who inaugurated the same by remote from the Camp office in Dadar. The much-hyped project is worth Rs 15-crore.

Member of Parliament Dr. Kirit Somaya was present at the site to inaugurate passenger amenities -- new platform no. 1A, foot over bridge, escalator ramps, new booking office and a new bio-toilet block.
