Mumbai Kurla landslide: Eight bodies recovered, search operation called off after 12 people accounted for

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has concluded its search and rescue operation at the Kurla West landslide site after recovering eight bodies and evacuating four people, officials said on Thursday.

The landslide was reported at around 3:38 am on August 12 at Garib Nawab Chawl in Ashok Nagar, Kurla West, with several people feared trapped under the debris.
