Mumbai’s suburban train services were affected during the morning rush hour on Monday, August 10, after technical failures were reported at multiple locations on the suburban railway section. The disruption during the morning hours caused brief disruptions to train operations.

As per the officials, a failure was reported at Vasai Road at 4:46 am involving PT 111/112 on the Diva Down/Up fast lines. Following the incident, railway staff from Dy SS/BSR proceeded to the site to carry out point clamping, resulting in the detention of Up fast trains.
