Mumbai local train update: Harbour Line services delayed after wire snags OHE near Chembur

Mumbai's Harbour Line suburban train services were disrupted during Friday's morning rush hour after an unidentified wire was found hanging over the overhead equipment (OHE) near Chembur station. Train operations were regulated as railway maintenance teams rushed to clear the obstruction and restore normal services

Suburban train services on Mumbai's Harbour Line were disrupted during Friday morning's peak hour. The disruption occurred after an unidentified wire was found hanging over the overhead equipment (OHE) near Chembur station, causing delays and affecting train operations.

The fault was detected at kilometre marker 17/225 on the UP line near Chembur station at around 9:10 am. As a safety measure, train PL40 was detained after it crossed Chembur station to prevent any potential mishap.
