Western Railway announces 10-hour night block this weekend for Mumbai Metro Line-6 girder launch

The block on the 6th line will be in effect from 9.30 pm on Saturday to 7.30 am on Sunday. Additionally, a separate block will be taken on the UP Fast line and the 5th line between 1 am and 4 am. Some UP and DOWN suburban services will remain cancelled.

Western Railway (WR) on Friday, May 1, announced a major 10-hour night block on its suburban network on the intervening night of Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3 for undertaking the work of launching steel girders for Mumbai Metro Line-6 between Ram Mandir and Jogeshwari stations.
The block on the 6th line will be in effect from 9.30 pm on Saturday to 7.30 am on Sunday. Additionally, a separate block will be taken on the UP Fast line and the 5th line between 1 am and 4 am.
