Mumbai local train updates: Central Railway carries out mega block for 15-coach expansion at Thane

The Mumbai Division operated a mega block on the UP and DOWN slow lines between Mulund and Thane stations from 11 am to 4 pm. The block was aimed at platform extension and extensive yard remodelling at Thane to facilitate the operation of longer suburban trains

Central Railway (CR) executed a mega block on Sunday to undertake key infrastructure works for accommodating 15-coach local trains at Thane station.
The Mumbai Division operated a mega block on the UP and DOWN slow lines between Mulund and Thane stations from 11 am to 4 pm.
