Central Railway's Mumbai division has announced a Mega Block on Sunday, January 28. The Central Railway mega block will affect both the Up and Down slow lines of the Matunga-Mulund section and the Down fast line from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai to Matunga during the morning hours from 11:05 AM to 3:55 PM.
A spokesperson of Central Railway said in a statement that as part of the mega block, local train services on the Down slow line from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai to Matunga and Mulund stations will be diverted to the slow line, causing an estimated delay of around 15 minutes at designated halts.

Thane-bound fast line services will be rerouted on the Down slow line from Ambarnath to Thane, also with an expected delay of about 15 minutes. The final local for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on the Down fast line will depart at 10:35 AM.
The Central Railway mega block will also impact local train services on the Panvel-Vashi Up and Down Harbour line from 11:05 AM to 4:05 PM. Notably, Belapur-Uran and Nerul-Uran Harbour line services will continue without interruption.
During the Mega Block, the Panvel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Up Harbour line service and the Down Harbour line service from Thane to Panvel/Belapur will be suspended from 10:33 AM to 3:49 PM. The Up Trans-Harbour line services towards Thane will operate from 11:02 AM to 3:53 PM, while the Down Trans-Harbour line services towards Panvel will run from 10:01 AM to 3:20 PM.
The statement advised said that the last local for Thane on the Down Trans-Harbour line will leave at 9:30 AM and reach Panvel at 10:50 AM. The first local for Panvel on the Down Trans-Harbour line will depart at 3:16 PM and arrive at Panvel at 4:36 PM.
On the Up Trans-Harbour line, the service from Panvel to Thane will operate from 10:41 AM to 11:33 AM, while the Down Trans-Harbour line service from Thane to Panvel will run from 9:39 AM to 10:31 AM.
Special local services will be arranged on the slow line from Kalavade station to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai and from Thane to Kalavade/Nerul stations during the Mega Block period.
