Mumbai local train staff recover bag with gold worth around Rs 15 lakh left in ladies compartment, return it to commuter

Mumbai local train staff helped return a bag containing gold worth around Rs 15 lakh to its rightful owner after it was left inside a ladies compartment of a Virar-bound train, officials said.

According to railway officials, the information was passed by the Station Superintendent at Virar Railway Station to Station Superintendent Sachin Khamker at Andheri Railway Station regarding a white printed bag left inside train number VR94048.
