Mumbai local trains get TV screens; to enhance travel experience

We have operationalised an infotainment contract by installing infotainment screens in 8 EMU rakes. A total of 20 EMU rakes are to be fitted with these LCD screens, Western Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer Sumit Thakur said

The Western Railway has installed TV screens on Mumbai local trains, the railways formally announced on Sunday morning. The screens will display commercial advertisements and railway/public interest information as of now.

"We have operationalised an infotainment contract by installing infotainment screens in 8 EMU rakes. A total of 20 EMU rakes are to be fitted with these LCD screens," Sumit Thakur, Western Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer said.
