Maharashtra govt appoints 26/11 martyr cop's widow as Deputy Superintendent of Police on probation

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday appointed the widow of police constable Ambadas Pawar, who attained martyrdom in the 26/11 terror attacks, as a probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police, reported the PTI.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis issued the orders of the direct appointment of Kalpana Pawar, the widow of Ambadas Pawar, the officials said.
