Wildlife lovers have urged authorities to rescue the crocodile and release it into its natural habitat, fearing its life could be threatened by antisocial elements.

Recently, a photograph of the crocodile resting near the lake's surface went viral on social media. Following the viral post, the Thane territorial forest department was informed about the sighting.
