An MIG cricket club member Chetan Mehta has bowled a googly on the eve of the club elections slated for Sunday, January 21. Mehta who says he has been a member of the Bandra (E) club "since two decades" has written a letter to Ganesh Iyer, 'Returning Officer' (one who oversees the elections) of the club. In this letter dated January 17, a copy of which is with mid-day, Mehta has in a nutshell challenged current MIG President Subodh Kulkarni's credentials of being a doctorate or PhD and asked the club to furnish proof that he is a PhD, of which thesis and whether the doctorate is an honorary one.
