Fire breaks out at Mumbai Metro Airport station; passengers evacuated, services briefly hit

A fire broke out on Wednesday at the Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqualine) station at CSMIA Terminal 2, following which there was a brief disruption in services and precautionary evacuation, officials said.

The blaze was reported on Wednesday afternoon in the technical room of the underground station at T2 Airport Metro Station in Andheri (East), they said.
