A teenage girl was allegedly raped by her own father within the four walls of her home last week. The RCF police in Chembur arrested the accused on Saturday, after the child’s mother lodged a case against him.

According to the police, the survivor stays with her parents and a younger brother near Vashi Naka, Chembur. She also has two elder sisters who have been married. On November 19, the survivor’s mother, who works as a house help, left home for work at 8.15 am.
