MMRDA accelerates Atal Setu-Pune Expressway connector, work at 143 of 176 sites complete

Once completed, the corridor is expected to play a transformative role in strengthening direct connectivity between Mumbai and Pune under the Mumbai 3.0 vision, creating a seamless high-speed mobility spine across the metropolitan region

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has achieved significant on-ground progress on the crucial Atal Setu–Mumbai–Pune Expressway connectivity corridor, with foundation, substructure and superstructure works advancing rapidly across the alignment.
Out of a total 176 foundation locations, work has been completed at 143 locations, while pier construction has progressed at 141 locations. Further strengthening the structural framework, MMRDA has completed pier caps 88 locations, while 653 of the total 830 precast girders are ready.
