Heavy rainfall across Mumbai on Sunday disrupted BEST bus operations, forcing the transport undertaking to divert several routes after multiple roads were blocked due to uprooted trees, fallen branches and damaged road infrastructure.

According to the BEST Traffic Control update, at least nine locations across the city witnessed route diversions to ensure commuter safety and maintain bus services.
