Mumbai monsoon: NMMC intensifies anti-mosquito drive at 270 construction sites

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has intensified its anti-mosquito campaign at 270 construction sites during the monsoon, targeting stagnant water at residential and redevelopment projects to curb the spread of dengue and malaria.

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has intensified its anti-mosquito drive at 270 construction sites across the city to curb the spread of dengue and malaria during the monsoon.
The special campaign covers under-construction residential and redevelopment projects, where stagnant water often becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The sites fall under the jurisdiction of 26 Urban Primary Health Centres.
