An unexpected spell of rain swept across Mumbai on Tuesday evening, bringing relief to many residents after a humid day but also causing waterlogging and traffic disruptions in parts of the city. The Andheri Subway was waterlogged by around 7.30 pm, while a stretch of Aarey Milk Colony Road was shut after multiple incidents of trees and branches falling on the road. Traffic was also affected on the Western Express Highway between Goregaon and Jogeshwari.
