The Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have called for a mega morcha rally from Byculla to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on October 4, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
MNS chief Raj Thackeray and his cousin and Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray announced in a joint press conference at the former’s residence, Shivtirth, that they would organise a protest march in Mumbai on October 4 against the CEC and Election Commission of India (ECI).
