A 26-year-old newly-married woman, identified as Rubina Ashfak Mansoori, was found murdered at her residence in Goregaon West on Saturday afternoon.

The police suspect the involvement of a family member as none of her valuables were found missing. Mansoori had a love marriage two months ago and according to the police, both the families were happy with the alliance.
According to police officials, an unknown person entered Mansoori&rsquo;s residence at around 2 pm on Saturday and slashed her neck, killing her in the process.
At 2.30 pm, Mansoori&rsquo;s husband, Ashfak, returned home for lunch and found the door locked from outside. When Ashfak opened the door, he found his wife lying in a pool of blood.
Senior Inspector SD Wadake of Goregaon police station said, &ldquo;The accused did not steal any valuables from the house, so we think an insider is involved in the murder.&rdquo;
