Dhangars take out morcha in Mumbai to seek reservations

Members of Yashwant Sena, an organisation representing the Dhangar community, on Tuesday held a protest march here against the BJP-led Maharashtra
government's 'failure' to give reservations.

The march was taken out from Jijamata Udyan to Azad Maidan in South Mumbai. The government had cheated the Dhangar (shepherd) community after promising it a Scheduled Tribe (ST) status, the protesters said.
