Farheed Rehmat Khan alias Farheed Kalina was nabbed by the Amboli Police team headed by Daya Nayak, after they received a tip-off regarding his whereabouts. According to a report by <a href="http://indianexpress.com/article/cities/mumbai/gangster-wanted-in-more-than-30-cases-arrested-3732993/" target="_blank">The Indian Express</a>, Khan is wanted in over 30 cases pertaining to extortion and threat.
Police sources say that he was part of a gang floated by his slain brother Idda Khan, who was gunned down in a police encounter by the Mumbai Crime Branch.
Khan was planning to flee Mumbai at the time of his arrest.
