Officials from WR stated that following the order issued by the commercial department, the name change would come into effect from July 23. This code will be printed on the rail ticket bought from the railway stations and soon the boards will also be replaced with the new name. The railway officials also clarified that the name change is a state government decision, which they are simply implementing.
