The shortage of vaccines in the city means that only a handful of centres will be open today. The BMC was expecting a new consignment of vaccines, but not a single vaccine was received till late night on Saturday, the corporation said.

Around 50 per cent of doses were given as the second dose. Of the 37,489 doses given on Saturday, 18,643 were given as a second dose.
