Mumbai: No water, parking issues plague families shifted from Haaji Noorani building

Residents claim that despite taking possession of their flats, a number of basic facilities promised at the time of relocation are either incomplete or functioning inadequately.

Several families relocated to the De-Abero Building in Prabhadevi ahead of Haaji Noorani building’s imminent demolition near Prabhadevi railway station, have alleged that they continue to struggle without essential civic amenities months after shifting into their new homes.
Residents claim that despite taking possession of their flats, a number of basic facilities promised at the time of relocation are either incomplete or functioning inadequately. Among the major concerns raised are lack of water supply, lack of parking space allotment for four wheelers and non-functional fans inside completely closed lifts.
