A mid-sized tree standing in the middle of a busy road outside Dahisar West railway station has become a daily hazard for motorists and pedestrians, who say the unusual obstruction is causing traffic bottlenecks and could lead to a serious accident.

“For someone visiting the area for the first time, especially at night or during heavy rains, it can be dangerous,” says Tanvi Pawaskar, a local resident.
