Mumbai: One injured in Wadala fire, blaze damages salon and garment unit

A fire broke out at a salon in Wadala, injuring a 65-year-old man and damaging nearby shops before being extinguished. In a separate incident, a blaze at an electrical unit in Thane’s Wagle Estate was brought under control with no injuries reported

A fire broke out during the early hours of Monday, May 4, at a ground-floor commercial unit in Wadala (East), injuring one person and damaging property, officials said.

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the incident was reported at 1:34 am from a structure located on Salt Pan Road in Sangam Nagar, near a mobile shop.
