<p>A 30-year-old man died and four of his friends were admitted to the ICU at the Trauma Care Center in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/jogeshwari-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Jogeshwari</a> after they complained of vomiting.</p>
<p>In the initial investigation, the police suspected that they had consumed homemade liquor, but the primary report revealed that they got infected due to <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/maharashtra-more-than-60-persons-suffer-food-poisoning-at-religious-event-in-nashik-23279787" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">food poisoning</a>.</p>
<p>The deceased identified as - Rambabu Fulkand Yadav (30), is a resident of Pump House at Andheri East. Yadav's four roommates, who are labourers between the age group of 25-35, have also been admitted to the hospital and are in critical condition.</p>
<p>Speaking with mid-day, Zone 10 DCP Datta Nalawade said, "On Wednesday night, all five friends, including the deceased Yadav, complained of vomiting. The neighbors rushed them to the Jogeshwari-based Trauma Care Hospital. Yadav was brought dead to the hospital."</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the police suspected that they had consumed homemade liquor.</p>
<p>While Yadav's body was sent for postmortem, the blood and urine samples of other admitted patients were sent for testing. "The medical report revealed that Yadav had died due to food poisoning, and the others were also suffering from food poisoning," the police official added.</p><p>
