The Palghar Zilla Parishad has announced a targeted campaign to remove stray cows and bulls from public roads, aiming to prevent frequent accidents and ensure safe shelter for the cattle, officials said on Thursday.
Cattle owners have been given two days to claim and secure their livestock. “After the deadline, authorities will seize stray animals found on the streets and permanently shift them to registered shelters”, an official said.
