Maharashtra: Peon puts lemon under officer’s car, case filed under Black Magic Act

Central Police have booked an Ulhasnagar Municipal corporation employee for allegedly attempting to perform black magic at the office. The employee, who is peon in a public health department, put a lemon under the tyre of an assistant commissioner from his own department. After the approval from the commissioner, an offence was registered.

On October 11, Manish Hiwre, an Assistant Municipal Commissioner and General Administration and Assistant Public Health officer, came to his car and found lemons underneath. Hiwre saw the peon standing near the car. “I asked him who did this, to which he replied he didn’t know. I asked him to remove the lemons,” said Hiwre.
