Mumbai: Petrol price reaches all-time high of Rs 97, netizens go bersek

As soon as petrol price crossed the 97-figure mark in Mumbai and Rs 100 in few other cities, netizens started sharing their concerns via rib-tickling memes

In a piece of disheartening news for Mumbaikars, the petrol price on Saturday touched an all-time high of Rs 97 per litre, while diesel was being sold at Rs 88.06 in the country's financial capital. 

Petrol and diesel prices continue to be on a rise in the city and across the country for the last 12 days. On Wednesday, petrol was sold for Rs 96 per litre, while diesel for Rs 87 on Thursday.
