The Mumbai Police is reportedly unhappy with the transfer of underworld don Chhota Rajan’s case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Former top cops have dubbed the shifting of the case as an insult to the capabilities of the state Police.
Former IPS officer Sudhakar Suradkar expressed his displeasure over the transfer of Rajan’s case. “I definitely feel hurt that the capability of the Maharashtra Police and the Mumbai Police is unnecessarily being routed since they are as competent as the CBI,” Suradkar told ANI here.
