In a bid to streamline property tax management and enhance digital access for citizens, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made it mandatory for property owners to complete the ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) process to avail of online property tax-related services.

According to civic officials, the initiative aims to simplify the tax payment process and ensure property owners receive timely updates and documentation via digital channels.
