Mumbai rail expansion: Kalyan-Badlapur 3rd, 4th lines project reaches 52 per cent progress; completion targeted for 2028

The Kalyan-Badlapur 3rd and 4th Line Project under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project-3A (MUTP-3A) has achieved 52 per cent physical progress, the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) said on Sunday.
The project, sanctioned at a cost of Rs 1,510 crore, is a major capacity augmentation project on Central Railway and is targeted for completion in 2028.
