The Mumbai Railway Police have taken responsibility for 38 accident hotspots across the suburban railway network as part of measures to reduce accidents caused by passengers crossing railway tracks, according to a statement issued on Wednesday.

Of the 38 identified hotspots, 27 are located in the Central Railway division and 11 in the Western Railway division.
