Mumbai rains continued to disrupt daily life on Monday, with the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking diverting 97 bus routes after heavy rain caused widespread flooding and fallen trees across the city.

Heavy rainfall disrupted BEST bus operations, forcing the transport undertaking to divert several routes after multiple roads were blocked due to uprooted trees, fallen branches and damaged road infrastructure.
