Mumbai rains: BMC on high alert, top official inspects rain-hit areas across city

BMC Additional Commissioner Prajakta Verma Lavangare inspects situation amid rains (Pic/Special arrangement)

While heavy rainfall continues to lash parts of Mumbai and other suburbs, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Municipal Commissioner (City) Prajakta Verma Lavangare, on Monday, July 6, conducted an extensive inspection of several rain-affected areas across the city. 

Lavangare, taking note of the situation across the city, directed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials to remain on high alert to tackle any emergencies.
