Fix potholes within 24 hours after receiving complaints: BMC to its officials

Officials said the large-scale concretisation programme has significantly reduced the number of potholes and road-related complaints during this year's monsoon season. It has also helped lower expenditure on pothole repairs

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has directed its road department engineers to ensure that every pothole-related complaint received during the monsoon season is resolved within 24 hours, officials said.

The instructions were issued by Additional Municipal Commissioner (Projects) Abhijit Bangar during a review meeting held to assess monsoon preparedness and road maintenance across the city.
