After days of relentless downpours, waterlogging, and weather warnings, Mumbai is set to get a much-needed respite from heavy monsoon rains. The India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest advisory on Thursday at 6 pm, has not issued any rain alert for the city for the next five days. 

The weather forecasting agency further indicated that the recent spell of intense rainfall is likely to ease significantly during the weekend.
