The heavy rain that Mumbai has been experiencing during the last 24 hours is likely to stay for two more days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai has said that intermittent rain shower is likely to occur in the city and suburbs with heavy downpour in some areas. The traffic police are already gearing up for a tough 48 hours, as the ongoing Metro construction work and pothole menace is likely to affect motorists.
