According to the latest report issued by the Disaster Management Department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the city reported several mishaps following heavy rainfall in the past 24-hours.

The Colaba weather station recorded a maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 23.6 degrees Celsius. The Santacruz weather station, representative of the suburbs, registered a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the city reported a high tide of 4.79 metres at 1.52 pm on Thursday.
Multiple incidents of weather-related mishaps were reported across the city in the past 24 hours. A total of 30 tree fall incidents were reported in the city, of which six took place in the city area, seven in the eastern suburbs and 17 in the western suburbs.
In a major incident, a large Gulmohar tree uprooted near the RAK Marg Police Station in Sewri, injuring two people. The duo, identified as Ramzan Nishad and Balkrushna Kurai, were rushed to King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital.
Another incident was reported from Chembur, where a tree branch fell near CST Road, injuring two pedestrians. Both of them were admitted to Rajawadi Hospital and their condition is said to be stable.
Additionally, four incidents of partial building or house collapses were reported, two each in the city and the eastern suburbs. One of the building collapse incidents occurred in Byculla, where part of a balcony collapsed from the fourth floor of a building, severely injuring two women. One of them, Khushma Khatul, is under observation, while Nazia Khan, who has been critically injured, is admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Nair Hospital.
Despite the heavy rainfall, the transportation services —rail, road and bus —continued to operate normally across the city.
According to the IMD, Mumbai is likely to experience "generally cloudy skies with a light to moderate rainfall in some areas" in the next 24 hours. Authorities will continue to remain alert and BMC has deployed various teams to aid residents in case of tree collapses, structural damages, and other emergency situations, across multiple wards.
