In a road rage incident late Saturday night in Bandra, Bollywood actress <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-jcb-driver-trapped-as-soil-collapses-near-versova-bridge-23351810" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Raveena Tandon</a> was attacked by a mob. The mob became aggressive after the actress's driver hit three people with the vehicle, injuring them.
The complainant alleged that the actress's driver abused and assaulted the family in a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/mumbai-6-held-after-toddler-is-sold-to-gay-couple-for-rs-4-65-lakh-23351529" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">road rage incident</a>. Additionally, it was claimed that Raveena Tandon, under the influence of alcohol, assaulted a woman.
In an alleged video, actress Raveena Tandon was seen requesting the mob not to harm anyone. She was heard telling the mob, "I know she is bleeding. Don't touch my driver. I request you. Please don't do it."
The mob repeatedly attacked actress <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-cops-nab-serial-burglar-after-2-km-long-chase-23349928" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Raveena Tandon</a> and her driver while she was trying to protect him. In the video, a member of the mob can be heard saying, "Why did your driver run? He assaulted me. My nose is bleeding. Bring your driver in front of us."
The complainant, identified as Mohammad, a resident of Bandra, alleged that actress <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-railway-police-nab-woman-who-stole-laptops-on-trains-23348416" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Raveena Tandon</a> was under the influence of alcohol and that she abused and assaulted a woman. He approached the Khar police station but claimed that the police refused to file an FIR against the actress.
According to police officials, the incident occurred late Saturday night near Rizvi College on Carter Road in Bandra West. The actress's car hit a family, including a mother, her daughter, and her niece, resulting in head and nose injuries.
In this road rage incident, a fight broke out between them. The complainant alleged that the actress's driver came out and started abusing and assaulting his mother and daughter. This led to a mob gathering at the spot and attacking the driver.
Meanwhile, actress Raveena Tandon came out and started protecting her driver. The mob manhandled and attacked her as well. In a video, the actress was seen requesting the mob to stop the fight and not to harm anyone. However, the mob continued attacking her for protecting her driver.
The complainant also alleged that actress Raveena Tandon was under the influence of alcohol.&nbsp;
The Khar police are currently investigating this matter.
