Mumbai: Robber asks kids to unbolt door in exchange for chocolates

A 30-year-old man was arrested last week for allegedly stealing jewellery worth lakhs from a flat in his own building. The Colaba police, who arrested the accused, learnt that he had asked two children to help him by tempting them with chocolates.
The accused was identified as Robin Velangani (30), an unemployed man who stays on the second floor of the building in Ganesh Lane, Colaba market. The alleged incident occurred on March 15 at the house of Aditya Gupta, an LIC agent, who stays in the same building. His wife takes private tuition for children, at her home.
