This is surely a case of celebrating Independence Day the right way. Students of Ryan International School, Malad, who celebrated the occasion not just on August 15 but all of last week, sent out letters to Army, Navy and Air force jawans, reminding them that India knows of their sacrifice. The students of Standard 6, 7 and 8 wrote about 258 letters to the jawans, saluting their bravery, courage and conviction. “The whole process created a very strong sense of patriotism among all of us. I could see that across the class. There was a sense of gratefulness,” said Janvi Verma, of Standard 8th.
