There is good news for motorists who get stuck in traffic jams on the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR) between Kalina and Kurla, as by next year, the construction of an elevated road from Kurla to the Vakola flyover, to ease traffic flow is to begin. Another elevated road corridor will be constructed from MTNL junction in BKC to LBS flyover at Kurla. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited tenders for the appointment of consultants for project management consultancy (PMC) services for the design and construction of the corridor.
