Mumbai students protest NEET paper leak, demand Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation

Students and youth organisations gathered at Mumbai's Azad Maidan to protest the alleged NEET-UG paper leak and demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Protesters backed the movement led by the Cockroach Janta Party and expressed support for activist Sonam Wangchuk's ongoing hunger strike.

The youth of Mumbai, along with student organisations, joined the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protest on Thursday at Azad Maidan against the paper leak incidents while also demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG exam. The protesters were seen with banners criticising the lack of action taken after the alleged leak of the NEET paper earlier in May.

mid-day spoke to some students, who expressed their strong support for the movement led by the CJP and activist Sonam Wangchuk [in Delhi], who has been on a hunger strike for the last 19 days as part of the protest.
